Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, confirmed that many cities such as Sadat City are currently witnessing several development operations for facilities and infrastructure, as well as water and sanitation facilities, in addition to many development works.


Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Social Housing, also stated that two electrical transformer stations are currently being implemented at a cost of 800 million pounds to feed the city's expansions, in addition to many power line projects, road development projects, and new residential areas in the city.


Ministry of Housing Announces Apartments for Low-Income People

Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities, followed up with the Sadat City Development Authority, Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim, the progress of work on the projects currently being implemented in Sadat City. The Minister of Housing stressed the importance of continuing to complete projects with the required quality as well as with the technical specifications that were agreed upon, with the necessity of intensifying the workforce within those sites so that they can be completed quickly and benefit from those projects.


Housing apartments for all Egyptians in Sadat City

Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities, followed up on the housing units project within the presidential initiative launched by President Sisi, Housing for All Egyptians with Limited Income, in Al-Firdaus neighborhood in Sadat City, which is scheduled to build 2,000 housing units consisting of three rooms and a hall, with an area of ​​90 meters per unit. It is also scheduled to implement 180 units consisting of two rooms and a hall, with an area of ​​75 meters. The doctor stated that approximately 95% of the project has been completed, with an investment cost exceeding 562 million pounds.


Engineer Yasser Abdel Halim, accompanied by officials of the agency, conducted an inspection tour to view the infrastructure projects currently being implemented in Sadat City. The project implementation works were reviewed, which include the implementation of four overhead power lines with an electrical voltage of 220 kV, in order to connect the high-voltage stations to enhance the work of the residential extension station.


The industrial electricity transformer stations were also inspected, with a cost exceeding 410 million Egyptian pounds. A transformer station for residential supply was also visited, which is currently being implemented, with costs exceeding 385 million pounds, and a completion rate exceeding 95%.
