Minister of Social Housing Dr. Assem El-Gazzar reveals details of offering 20,044 housing units. In a number of new Egyptian cities in the projects (Janna - Dar Misr - Sakan Misr)
Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities, confirmed that registration will open on the website of the Housing and Development Bank the day after tomorrow, Sunday, until February 16.
Reservations will start at 10 am on Sunday
The Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority confirmed: Those who have reserved the offered housing units can pay the rest of the price of the housing unit through the real estate financing program at the Housing and Development Bank according to the applicable rules.
In this matter, Dr. Assem El-Gazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities, revealed. On the details of the Ministry of Social Housing offering 20,044 housing units in a number of new cities, in the projects (Janna - Dar Misr - Sakan Misr), explaining that registration will begin the day after tomorrow, Sunday, January 15, 2023, until 11:59 pm on Thursday, February 16, 2023, on the website of the Housing and Development Bank "www.hdb-reservation.com".
While the reservation of housing units begins from 10 am on Sunday, March 5, 2023, until 11:59 pm on Monday, March 6, 2023, and the allocation is done according to the reservation priority system "online".
The Minister of Housing said: 10,872 housing units are being offered in the "Janna" project, with areas ranging between 100 and 161 m2, in 6 new cities (6th of October - Sheikh Zayed - New Damietta - New Cairo - New Mallawi - New Mansoura).
All this is in addition to offering 512 housing units in the "Dar Misr" project, with areas ranging between 100 and 150 m2, in 4 new cities (15 May - Obour - New Damietta - New Borg El Arab).
This is in addition to offering 8660 housing units in the "Sakan Misr" project, with areas ranging between 106 and 133 m2, in 11 new Egyptian cities (New October - New Cairo - New Obour - October Gardens - New Minya - Shorouk - New Mansoura - New Damietta - West Qena - Nasser "West Assiut" - New Alamein).
Eng. Hatem Hassan, Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for Commercial and Real Estate Affairs, explained that the value of the reservation deposit for "Janna" units is 100 thousand pounds.
As for the housing units in the "Dar Misr" project, it is 80 thousand pounds.
As for the residential units in the “Sakan Misr” project, they amount to 70 thousand pounds, in addition to registration fees, and 20% payment will be completed in addition to (1% administrative expenses + 5.0% for the Board of Trustees) of the total price of the unit, within a month starting from 03/26/2023, until 05/04/2023.
The Vice President of the New Urban Communities Authority for Commercial and Real Estate Affairs added: 10% of the total unit price is paid upon receipt, and 70% (the remaining unit price) is paid in equal quarterly installments for a period of 3, 5 or 7 years, bearing interest on the debit balance equal to the interest rate announced by the Central Bank of Egypt at the time of offering, in addition to (2% according to the instructions of the Ministry of Finance + 0.5% collection expenses), and the first installment is due after 3 months from the date of receipt of the unit, provided that post-dated checks are submitted before receipt, and unit bookers can pay the remaining unit price, which is 70% of the total price, through the real estate financing program of the Housing and Development Bank in accordance with the applicable rules, with a commitment to pay any amounts due to the Authority as soon as they are due until obtaining real estate financing. Regarding the steps for reserving units, Eng. Hatem Hassan indicated that the first step (submission) begins on Sunday, January 15, 2023, until 11:59 pm on Thursday, February 16, 2023, where the website (www.hdb-reservation.com) of the Housing and Development Bank is accessed without a password, to view or print the terms and conditions booklet, to know all the details (areas - prices - building numbers), with the possibility of viewing the reservation steps (video / written), and in the event that there is no current account, a new account is created, by clicking on (Register a new user), and filling in the required data, and then entering the site again, and clicking on the key (I want to apply) then (Extract the application number), and a screen will appear to review the basic data and modify it as needed, and after completing the review of the data, the customer clicks on (Confirm) to display the application number on the screen, which is the number that will be used as an account number to transfer all financial amounts, and the application can be printed after that. He added: The customer transfers the reservation deposit amount, in addition to non-refundable registration fees - in one payment and not divided - provided that the transfer is made from the customer's account or a relative up to the second degree only, and the transferor bears the commissions and transfer expenses from his bank account to the account number (the application number obtained) at the Housing and Development Bank, Dokki branch, in one of the following ways: (Transfer from the customer's account in all banks within Egypt via "ACH", or Swift code (HDBKEGCAXXX), or transfer from any branch of the Housing and Development Bank if the customer has an account with the bank, or in cash at one of the branches of the Housing and Development Bank, and a message (SMS) will be sent, stating the arrival of the reservation deposit amount within 72 hours (3 working days) of transferring the reservation deposit amount, and in the event that the message does not arrive during that period, the bank's call center must be contacted.
Engineer Hatem Hassan explained that unit reservations start from 10 am on Sunday, March 5, 2023, until 11:59 pm on Monday, March 6 2023.
After entering the site again with the national number and password, and clicking on “I want to apply” then clicking on the “Book Now” button.
After that, a screen will appear showing the basic data in the previously registered form (for review only), then a screen will appear representing the data of the units available for reservation, arranged as follows (governorate - city - region - unit type - building number - unit number).
Then press the reservation confirmation key with the ability to print all the form data.
The offer is for three, five and seven years
With interest on the remaining 70% of the unit price
Meaning you will pay to receive 36.5%
And the remaining 70% you choose to pay in installments over three, five or seven years with interest from the Central Bank
And there are no conditions that come
Other than that you have not taken a social housing apartment or social land
Meaning that anyone who has taken an apartment before, a residence, a house, a paradise or a distinguished land, applies
And it is possible to take it with the financing system in effect at the Construction Bank.
