488 thousand apartments, installment of 350 pounds, down payment of 15 thousand
The Ministry of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities seeks to provide many apartments and housing units for citizens within residential projects. This is to provide suitable housing for all Egyptians, and many are interested in the projects "Sakan Misr - Dar Misr - Janna - Distinguished Housing - Katameya Gardens" that the Ministry of Housing announced and began offering.
In this regard, the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and New Urban Communities announced the official application date. This is to reserve apartments in the new offering in 5 projects.
This is to apply and pay the reservation earnest money, and the authority is offering 22 thousand apartments in the projects "Sakan Misr - Dar Misr - Janna - Distinguished Housing with a Coastal Character - Katameya Gardens".
Sakan Misr Project
The reservation earnest money has reached 70 thousand pounds, after it was 40 thousand pounds, and 8660 housing units are being offered, with areas ranging between 106 and 133 m2.
The offering is taking place in 11 new cities "New October - New Cairo - New Obour - October Gardens - New Minya - Shorouk - New Mansoura - New Damietta - West Qena - Nasser "West Assiut" - New Alamein".
Dar Misr Project
The down payment for the reservation has increased by EGP 20,000 to EGP 80,000, and 512 residential units are being offered in it, with areas ranging between 100 and 150 m2.
The units are being offered in 4 new cities "15 May - Obour - New Damietta - New Borg El Arab".
Janat Misr Project
The Janat Misr project includes 10,872 residential units, with areas ranging between 100 and 161 m2, and the down payment for the reservation in the project has reached EGP 100,000 instead of EGP 80,000.
The residential units are being offered in 6 new cities "6 October - Sheikh Zayed - New Damietta - New Cairo - New Mallawi - New Mansoura".
The distinguished coastal housing project
The distinguished housing project includes 1971 housing units, with areas ranging between 90 and 109 m2, and a reservation down payment of 60 thousand pounds.
It is offered in 4 new cities "New Rashid - New Mansoura - New Damietta - New El Alamein".
Katameya Gardens Project
The Katameya Gardens project is one of the partnership projects with the private sector, and the reservation down payment reached 100 thousand pounds, and it is offered in New Cairo City, and includes 500 housing units with areas ranging between 90 and 125 m2.
How to apply to reserve units in new housing projects electronically
The Ministry of Housing has introduced a method for reserving housing units in the Janat Misr project, by following
the following steps
- Log on to the following website through the link, to inquire about the project and download its terms and conditions booklet.
- Click on "Register a new user" and register your data to receive a message with the password.
- A message with a temporary password "default" for five minutes is sent via SMS or email and is used to create a permanent password.
- The permanent password must consist of at least 8 English letters, containing a capital letter and a number, in addition to one of the symbols chosen by the applicant, noting that a block will be made for an hour if the three attempts are exceeded.
- Click on "Extract Form Number" to display the form number that was extracted by the customer from the website.
- The amounts are transferred to it using one of the payment methods Ach or Swift or from any bank, or an internal transfer from any branch of the Housing and Development Bank, if you have an account with the Housing and Development Bank.
- After completing the transfer of the amount, a confirmation message is sent stating that the amount has been transferred to your account in the project.
Reservation conditions for Sakan Misr, Dar Misr and Janna apartments
1- The applicant must be a natural person of Egyptian nationality and not a legal person (company or institution).
2- The applicant must not be less than 21 years old on the date of the start of the reservation.
4- A social housing plot or a housing unit within the social housing project or a housing unit in the “Dar Misr” or “Sakan Misr” project must not have been previously allocated to him or to any of his family members (husband, wife, and minor children) in any of the new cities, whether in his possession or transferred to others.
5- The New Urban Communities Authority has cancelled the previous conditions related to age, job, or proof of income requirements because they relate to real estate financing initiatives that were not available for the units of the new offering.
Reservation advance for Sakan Misr, Dar Misr, Jannah, Katameya Gardens, and Coastal Housing units
1- EGP 100,000 advance for reservation of Jannah project units.
2- EGP 100,000 advance for reservation of Katameya Gardens project units.
3- EGP 80,000 advance for reservation of Dar Misr project units.
4- EGP 70,000 advance for reservation of Sakan Misr units.
5- 60 thousand pounds as a down payment for coastal housing units.
Payment systems and installment periods for Sakan Misr, Dar Misr and Janna projects
1- Paying down payments and completing them with an amount equivalent to 20% of the unit value upon completion of the allocation.
2- Paying 0.5% of the Board of Trustees fees.
3- Paying 10% of the unit value upon receipt, thus bringing the paid percentage of the unit value to about 30%.
4- The rest of the unit price is paid in installments over 3 years, five years or 7 years
