Conditions for booking Awqaf apartments

The first condition for booking social housing apartments: The applicant for booking social housing apartments must acknowledge that he has inspected the housing units and agree to purchase them in their current condition, descriptions and area.

The second condition: The applicant for booking social housing apartments must acknowledge that in the event of contracting with him and his delay in paying any of these obligations due from him according to the conditions stated in this booklet, all installments will be due immediately without the need for notice or warning.

In the event of non-payment, the Authority has the right to consider the contract terminated on its own and re-advertise it without notice or warning or a court ruling.

The third condition: The applicant for reserving social housing apartments shall undertake to pay all expenses incurred in transferring ownership of the real estate registry or other administrative expenses determined by the Authority, as well as paying the expenses of maintaining the building and consuming electricity, water and gas, if any, with the rest of the buyers in accordance with the law.

The fourth condition: The applicant for reserving social housing apartments shall undertake not to make any modifications to the property except after obtaining the approval of the Authority, and such that these modifications do not give advantages at the expense of the entrance to the shops or protrusion into the street or at the expense of the neighboring shops.

This shall be done in accordance with the applicable laws and instructions, and the approval of the competent authorities shall be obtained, and that these shops are designated for all commercial purposes and otherwise, except for activities that harm public health or affect the safety of the building.

Awqaf apartments payment system 2024

1- 7% of the value of the allocated housing unit shall be deducted in the event that its price is paid in cash.

2- It is possible to pay the value of the housing unit over 3 years without interest, as 30% of the price is paid as a down payment and the remaining 70% is paid over 36 months without interest.

3- It is also possible to obtain the housing unit for social housing apartments in installments over 5 years with Central Bank interest, as a 20% down payment is paid and the remainder, which is 80%, is paid in installments over 60 months, plus the current Central Bank interest.

4- Please note that the down payment for the 2024 Awqaf apartments starts from 16 thousand pounds, with a payment of 200 pounds in administrative expenses.
